At Australian Community Housing, we represent a diverse network of not-for-profit community housing providers, ranging from growth-focused providers to locally embedded organisations focused on tenancy management, support services and community development.
Our members deliver secure, social and affordable housing to tens of thousands of Australians, including older women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, veterans, individuals with disabilities and families escaping domestic and family violence.
ACH builds upon the strong foundations established by CHIA National and PowerHousing Australia. Our commitment is to support all providers, regardless of size or focus area, in delivering safe, secure and affordable housing.
The Foundations of Australian Community Housing
Australian Community Housing (ACH) was formed in 2025 through the merger of CHIA National and PowerHousing Australia, uniting decades of sector expertise under one strong, collective voice.
Australian Community Housing continues to build a stronger, unified sector. Our commitment is to support all providers, regardless of size or focus area, in delivering safe, secure and affordable housing to those in need.
